Review Unexpected Instagram Unfollows

Planned workflow: Review unexpected unfollows, active tools, and account access. Understand the difference between troubleshooting a change and starting an unfollow task.

Identify what changed

Check whether the change corresponds to an action recorded in your own task history. A missing local record does not prove that Instagram or another tool caused it.

Check tasks and connected access

Stopping a task prevents new dispatches. An action without a confirmed response remains Unknown and needs a relationship check before any retry.

Review account security and current guidance

Troubleshooting unexpected changes is different from deliberately creating an unfollow task. Buying a subscription is not a prerequisite for reviewing your local records.

Keep troubleshooting separate from automation

Check whether the change corresponds to an action recorded in your own task history. A missing local record does not prove that Instagram or another tool caused it.
