Understand Requested, Following, and Unknown Results

Planned workflow: Learn the difference between an accepted follow action, a pending private-account request, and an unknown result. Read task status without guessing.

When a private-account request is pending

For a private account, a confirmed request can still be waiting for approval. An accepted request is not the same claim as a confirmed public following relationship.

What confirmed action means

Unknown means the client cannot confirm what happened. It is not a failed action that should immediately be sent again.

Why an unknown result needs checking

Local follow memory records this tool’s evidence. It cannot establish that a relationship change observed later was necessarily caused by this client.

How local memory records status

For a private account, a confirmed request can still be waiting for approval. An accepted request is not the same claim as a confirmed public following relationship.
