How to Stop Unexpected Instagram Auto-Following

Planned workflow: Work through unexpected follows, connected tools, and active sessions. Learn what to check without assuming Instagram has a universal auto-follow-back switch.

Identify what is creating the follows

First identify whether a task you deliberately started is still active. In this extension, Pause stops new dispatches; Stop ends the task. Neither can undo an action already sent.

We do not sell followers or guarantee follower growth. Live sources, including Location, remain unavailable until real permission and compatibility checks pass.

Review connected apps and sessions

Do not assume that Instagram provides one universal auto-follow-back switch. A current settings path must be checked against Instagram’s own help before it is recommended.

Pause any task you started

Unexpected account activity and choosing an automation product are different problems. You do not need to purchase Pro to stop a local task, export your data, or review an uncertain result.

Check account security and current settings
